CVIR EDUCATION is designed for educating all medical professionals in the Cardiac Catheterization, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology labs. 

CATH LAB POCKET REFERENCE

For new members of the Cardiac Cath Lab Team, we have added a Pocket Reference book.  This book contains information necessary for the monitor position, and will aid anyone who wants to be a part of the Cath Lab.  It includes:

• Cardiac and Coronary artery anatomy
• Right heart pressures and saturations
• Images and diagrams of Coronary Arteries
• Commonly used diagnostic and guide catheters
• A list of commonly used wires
• Peripheral anatomy and workflow

For new members of the Cardiac Cath Lab Team, we offer a complete training book.  This book contains information necessary for all three roles, and will aid anyone who wants to be a part of the Cath Lab.  It includes:

• Images and diagrams of Coronary Arteries
• Commonly used diagnostic and guide catheters
• A list of commonly used wires
• Peripheral anatomy and workflow

Cath Lab 101 has been used as a training manual for many new staff members. We are working on a training schedule that will use the book, and is designed to take staff from complete beginner to polished staff. The time frame, of course, depends on the experience of the
